Nuclear Bomb Explosions - Since the United States dropped two nuclear bombs to end World War II in Japan the US has detonated over 1,000 nuclear bombs for study. There doesn’t seem to be a realistic count of how many bombs detonated worldwide by all nuclear countries, or how many bombs have actually been built over the years. The photos below show various explosions. Some are beautiful. All are devastating.
